FAQs

Are these shorts suitable for swimming?

While they contain a liner, these shorts are designed primarily for running and training, not as swimwear.

What is the fit like?

These shorts feature a slim, athletic fit. If you prefer a looser feel, consider testing your size carefully against the provided fit guide.

Can I fit a phone in the pockets?

The pockets are designed for small items like keys and energy gels; most modern smartphones will be too large for these pockets.

Does the liner chafe?

The internal mesh liner is designed to be supportive and minimize friction, though fit varies by individual body type.

How should I wash these to maintain the technical features?

Always wash in cold water without fabric softeners and hang to dry whenever possible.

Troubleshooting

Drawcord feels loose during running

Ensure the drawcord is pulled evenly and tied with a secure double knot before beginning your workout.

Fabric holds onto odors

Wash the shorts inside-out immediately after use and avoid leaving them damp in a gym bag.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent ventilation thanks to rear Airvent ripstop fabric
Rapid-drying performance for long-distance training
Secure storage options for keys and small essentials
Full range of motion enabled by side-vent hem design

Cons

Slim fit cut may be restrictive for some athletes
Requires machine wash with care to preserve technical fabric
Limited to specific aesthetic design

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Under Armour Velociti Elite Shorts, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash cold with like colors to prevent color bleeding.
Detergent: Use mild, performance-specific detergent; avoid fabric softeners, as they can clog the technical fibers and reduce moisture-wicking efficiency.
Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to protect the integrity of the elastic and moisture-wicking treatments.
Ironing: Do not iron or bleach, as high heat can damage the synthetic fibers.
