The Finery London Aisling Dress is a versatile, midi-length shirt dress designed for the modern adult woman looking to elevate her summer wardrobe with a balance of comfort and structure. Crafted from breathable cotton, this piece features a timeless striped pattern and a relaxed fit that can be tailored via an included waist tie. The dress has a length of 125cm, designed to fall as a midi length on most average-height adults.
Yes, the dress is made from cotton, which is highly breathable and ideal for managing heat during summer months.
Yes, the waist tie is detachable, allowing you to wear the dress in its fully relaxed, loose fit if preferred.
Yes, the design includes practical side pockets integrated into the tiered skirt.
We recommend a cool, delicate machine wash and line drying to preserve the fabric quality and the shape of the tiered hem.
The Aisling Dress is available in a range of UK sizes from 10 through 24 to accommodate different body types.
Lightly mist the dress with water and use a handheld steamer or a warm iron on the cotton setting to smooth out creases.
Ensure the tie is passed through the side loops before knotting; double-knotting or using a secure bow can help maintain the desired cinch.
Use the self-fabric waist tie to pull in the excess fabric, or consider layering a fitted camisole underneath if the button front creates minor gapping.
As this garment arrives ready to wear, setup simply involves ensuring the waist tie is threaded through the side loops if necessary. For the best longevity of the cotton fabric, it is recommended to machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle with like colors. Avoid high-heat tumble drying to prevent shrinking; instead, air dry the dress on a hanger to maintain the structure of the collar and the integrity of the tiered seams. If ironing is required, use a medium heat setting while the fabric is slightly damp to smooth out any wrinkles from storage or travel.
