The Coast Faux Pearl Button Detail Belted Occasion Cape is an elegant outerwear piece tailored for adults who want to elevate their formal and evening attire with a sophisticated, structured silhouette. The primary benefit of this garment is its refined aesthetic, featuring classic faux pearl accents and an integrated belt that helps define the waist for a flattering fit. A potential caveat to consider is that as a specialty occasion item, the structured design may require delicate handling and specific storage to maintain its tailored shape.

Due to the structured nature of the garment and the faux pearl detailing, machine washing is not recommended. Professional dry cleaning is the safest method to maintain quality.
Yes, the belt is designed to be removable, allowing you to wear the cape as an open, flowing layer if preferred.
The cape comes in generic apparel sizing (S, M, L). Select your standard dress size for the best fit, keeping in mind the structured shoulder design.
This piece is intended for occasion wear and fashion layering. It provides moderate coverage but is not designed as a heavy winter coat for extreme cold.
The faux pearls are decorative and designed for occasional wear. Keep them away from perfumes and hairsprays to preserve their luster.
Ensure the belt is looped through any designated stays properly and consider a gentle knot or double-back fold to keep it secure.
Use a professional garment steamer on a low setting, keeping distance from the faux pearls, or hang in a steamy bathroom to let wrinkles release naturally.
Check the underside of the button and reinforce with a matching needle and thread if the shank has become slightly detached.
To get the best fit, ensure the belt is adjusted comfortably while standing to avoid unnecessary tension on the structured fabric. For compatibility, this piece works best when paired with tailored trousers or slim-fit dresses that balance the volume of the cape. To maintain the integrity of the faux pearl buttons and the structured fabric, we recommend professional dry cleaning or spot cleaning using mild detergents only. Always store the cape on a padded hanger to ensure the shoulders retain their intended shape and avoid leaving the belt pulled tight while in long-term storage to prevent creasing.
