Are the wheels safe for hardwood floors?

Troubleshooting

Chair makes a squeaking sound when reclining

Check all bolts to ensure they are fully tightened and apply a silicone-based lubricant to the tilt mechanism hinge.

Armrest feels loose or wobbly

Tighten the mounting screws connecting the armrest to the base of the seat cushion.

Gas lift cylinder fails to hold height

Check if the height adjustment lever is obstructed; if it is clear and still fails, contact support for a replacement cylinder.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly of the SIHOO M18 should be performed on a soft surface to prevent scratching the frame. Ensure all screws are tightened to the recommended torque during the initial build, but avoid overtightening which may strip the threading. The chair is compatible with most standard desk heights and is suitable for both hard floors and low-pile carpets.

To care for your chair, vacuum the mesh back regularly to prevent dust accumulation. The seat cushion can be cleaned with a mild upholstery cleaner if stains occur. Periodically check the armrest and base bolts every six months to ensure they remain secure, as daily micro-movements can cause fasteners to loosen over time.
