Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility:
This radiator is suitable for all standard UK central heating systems, including combi, system, and conventional tank-fed systems. It operates effectively up to a maximum pressure of 10 bar. Pipe centres measure 560mm.
Setup:
- Installation: Professional installation by a qualified plumber is highly recommended. Ensure all pipework is correctly prepared.
- Mounting: Use the provided wall fixings and brackets. Secure the radiator firmly to the wall, ensuring it is level.
- Valves: Attach compatible radiator valves (sold separately) to the inlet and outlet connections.
- Bleeding: Before full system operation, use the bleed plug to release any trapped air from the radiator.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the lacquered finish. For stubborn marks, use a mild detergent mixed with water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the radiator for any signs of damage or leaks. Ensure bleed valves are functioning correctly.
- Patina: The lacquered raw metal finish is designed to develop a natural patina over time, enhancing its industrial look. This is a normal characteristic and not a defect.
