Regatta Stormbreak Waterproof Jacket - Black, 2-3

No, the Regatta Stormbreak is a waterproof shell jacket. It is designed to keep rain out but does not provide insulation. We recommend layering warm clothing underneath for colder conditions.

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent or a specialist waterproof cleaner. Do NOT use fabric softener, as it can damage the waterproof coating. Air dry completely, do not tumble dry or iron.

Hydrafort is Regatta's proprietary waterproof and windproof fabric technology. It ensures that the jacket effectively repels water, keeping your child dry and protected from the elements.

The product description does not specify pockets. Based on its design as a lightweight shell, it typically features a minimalist design which may not include them.

This specific variant of the Regatta Stormbreak Jacket is sized for children aged 2-3 years.

Yes, with its Hydrafort fabric and durable construction, the jacket is designed to provide effective protection in wet weather, including heavy rain.

While it is waterproof, the primary focus of the Hydrafort shell is protection from rain. Like many fully waterproof shell jackets, its breathability might be limited compared to highly breathable technical jackets, especially during vigorous activity.

This can happen with prolonged use or improper washing. Wash the jacket using a specialist waterproof cleaner (not regular detergent or fabric softener) and allow it to air dry thoroughly. If necessary, consider applying a durable water repellent (DWR) spray after cleaning.

The Stormbreak is a shell jacket designed for waterproofing, not insulation. Ensure your child is wearing appropriate warm layers (e.g., a fleece or thermal top) underneath the jacket, especially in colder weather. Layering is key for warmth.

Regular gentle care helps maintain elasticity. If elasticity is significantly lost due to wear and tear, unfortunately, it's difficult to repair. Ensure the jacket is not exposed to excessive heat during drying, which can degrade elastic materials.
