Product Information
Full details
The Trespass Etto microfleece is designed for active toddlers aged 2-3 who need lightweight, reliable warmth during outdoor play or school days. Its standout benefit is the Airtrap technology, which traps body heat while remaining breathable and non-bulky, making it an excellent layering piece; however, it is a thin fleece intended for mild weather rather than extreme sub-zero conditions.

No, it is designed for warmth and breathability. It should be worn under a waterproof shell in wet conditions.
Can it be machine washed?
Yes, it is machine washable on a low-temperature cycle.
Does the neck zip scratch the child's chin?
The garment features a contrast inner collar facing designed to reduce friction and prevent irritation.
Is it suitable for winter?
It is excellent as a mid-layer during winter, but as a standalone piece, it is best for mild to cool days.
What age group does the size 2-3 fit?
It is specifically tailored for toddlers between the ages of 2 and 3 years old.
Troubleshooting
Fabric looks slightly pilled after many washes
Use a fabric shaver or gentle lint remover to safely refresh the surface of the fleece.
Zip feels slightly stiff
Ensure no fabric lint is caught in the teeth of the zipper and run a graphite pencil tip along the zipper track to lubricate it.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightweight and packable without sacrificing warmth
- Breathable material prevents overheating during active play
- Half-zip design makes it easy for kids to put on independently
- Durable construction handles frequent washing well
Cons
- Best suited for mild to cool weather, not heavy winter storms
- The thin profile provides limited wind resistance
- No hand pockets for storing small items
Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Compatibility: This fleece layers perfectly under most standard waterproof jackets or parkas. It is true to size for children aged 2-3.
- Washing: Machine wash on a cool setting (typically 30 or 40 degrees Celsius). Avoid using heavy bleaches or fabric softeners that can degrade the Airtrap fabric technology.
- Drying: Hang dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Avoid high heat as microfleece can be susceptible to pilling or structural damage if exposed to extreme temperatures.
- Ironing: Generally not required; if necessary, use the coolest setting, but it is typically not recommended.
