FAQs

Is this top suitable for cold weather?

It is designed as a performance layer, making it great for active training in moderate to cool weather, though you may need an additional base layer for freezing conditions.

What does 'slim-fit' mean?

Slim-fit means the garment is tailored to sit closer to the body than a regular-fit shirt to reduce drag and improve performance during movement.

Does the club crest peel off in the wash?

The crest is durable, but it is recommended to wash the garment inside out to prevent direct friction with the drum of the washing machine.

Can this be worn for activities other than football?

Yes, its moisture-wicking properties make it excellent for running, gym classes, or any high-intensity sport.

Is the material stretchy?

Yes, the construction is designed to be flexible, providing full freedom of movement for active kids.

Troubleshooting

Sleeves feel too tight or restrictive

Ensure the thumbholes are not being used if they are causing tension, or verify the sizing aligns with the child's measurements for a slim-fit garment.

Fabric retains odors after washing

Use a sports-specific laundry detergent designed to penetrate synthetic fibers and eliminate lingering sweat bacteria.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-performance moisture-wicking material
Streamlined fit reduces excess fabric movement
Includes thumbholes for improved fit and coverage
Authentic PSG branding
Lightweight and breathable for intense exercise

Cons

Slim-fit cut may be restrictive for some body types
Requires specific care to maintain fabric performance
Limited to specific sizing options for younger children

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of the performance fabric and the durability of the club crest, follow these care instructions:

Washing: Machine wash the top inside out in cold water to protect the crest and technical fabric properties.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible. If machine drying is necessary, use a low-heat setting.
Avoid Bleach: Never use bleach or harsh fabric softeners, as these can damage the `Dri-FIT` moisture-wicking finish.
Ironing: Do not iron directly over the club crest or logo prints.
