FAQs

Does this sheet need ironing?

No, it features a non-iron finish designed to stay smooth after washing.

Can I use this on a platform bed?

Valance sheets are designed for beds with a box spring or base that requires coverage; they do not typically work well on solid platform beds.

What is the thread count of this fabric?

This collection features a 180 thread count percale weave for optimal durability and comfort.

Is the fabric machine washable?

Yes, it is fully machine washable for effortless maintenance.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the length and width of your mattress and consider the height of the bed base to ensure the valance drape matches your needs.

Troubleshooting

The valance appears wrinkled after washing.

Ensure the sheet is removed from the dryer immediately after the cycle ends and shake it out to release remaining tension in the fabric.

The sheet does not stay centered on the bed.

Check that the mattress is correctly positioned and verify that the elastic or anchoring points are fully engaged under the mattress weight.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Resistant to wrinkles for a tidy look
  • Easy to wash and quick to dry
  • Breathable fabric ensures comfort
  • Provides a clean, finished aesthetic to any bed frame

Cons

  • Not compatible with platform beds without a base
  • Requires careful measurement of bed drop height
  • Specific silver color may not match all bedding sets

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best results, ensure your bed base is compatible with a valance-style sheet, meaning it must have a gap or space between the mattress and the floor for the fabric to drape effectively. When installing, align the corners of the sheet with the corners of your bed base to ensure a smooth, centered drop. For care, machine wash the sheet on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Because the fabric is non-iron, remove it promptly from the dryer and place it back on the bed to maintain a crisp, wrinkle-free appearance.
