Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
These boots are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for optimal comfort and protection. Lace them up securely, ensuring a snug but not overly tight fit around the ankle and foot.
Compatibility:
The Timberland Pro Euro Hiker Safety Boots are designed for general work environments requiring safety footwear. They meet the EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 S7 safety standard, including FO (fuel oil resistance), HRO (heat resistance), and SR (slip resistance) ratings. The non-metallic shank makes them suitable for environments with metal detectors.
Care:
- Leather Upper: Clean regularly with a soft brush to remove loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth and a mild leather cleaner. Allow to air dry naturally away from direct heat. Condition the leather periodically with a suitable leather conditioner to maintain its suppleness and water resistance.
- Outsole: Clean the rubber outsole with water and a brush to remove mud or debris, ensuring optimal traction.
- Lining: Wipe the interior with a damp cloth if needed. Ensure boots are thoroughly dry before storing to prevent mildew.
