Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Sizing: It is highly recommended to Buy 1 Size Bigger than your usual shoe size. This ensures an optimal and comfortable fit due to the boot's specific last design.
- Lacing: Utilize the lace closure system to customize the fit. Start lacing from the bottom, ensuring even tension across the foot. A secure, but not overly tight, fit is crucial for comfort and support.
- Break-in Period: Like most new football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions initially to allow the materials to mold to your foot before competitive matches.
Compatibility
- Surface: These boots are exclusively designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This refers to natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces may compromise performance, durability, and could lead to injury.
- Fit: Designed for adult male feet. Ensure the 'Buy 1 Size Bigger' recommendation is followed for the best fit.
Care
To prolong the life and maintain the performance of your boots, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbing that could damage the upper material.
- Washing: For a deeper clean, wipe the boots down with a mild soap and water solution. Do not machine wash or submerge them in water, as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), which can cause materials to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. You can stuff them with newspaper to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Stud Inspection: Regularly check the studs for wear or damage. Worn studs can reduce traction and compromise safety.
