Full details
The Puma Future 9 Play FG/AG football boots are designed for young, aspiring playmakers who want to enhance their ball control and agility on firm and artificial ground. Their key benefit is the intuitive feel and seamless control they offer, allowing for effortless ball manipulation. A potential caveat is that they are optimized for specific ground types (FG/AG) and may not perform as well on other surfaces. These boots feature an adaptive-fit upper, enhanced haptics for superior touch, lightweight synthetics, and a traditional tongue for comfort.

FAQs
Are these boots suitable for all types of football pitches?
No, the Puma Future 9 Play FG/AG boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) and Artificial Ground (AG). They are not recommended for Soft Ground (SG) or indoor surfaces.
How do I clean my football boots?
Wipe off excess dirt with a dry brush or cloth. Use a damp cloth for stubborn dirt and allow the boots to air dry naturally, away from direct heat.
What is the main benefit of the enhanced haptics?
The enhanced haptics improve your feel for the ball, allowing for more precise control during dribbling, passing, and shooting.
Will these boots fit a child with a wider foot?
These boots feature an adjusted ankle section and a more accommodating fit than previous generations, designed for improved comfort. However, individual fit can vary.
How do the embossed grip lines help?
The embossed grip lines on the upper are designed to enhance grip on the ball, giving players more precision during dribbles and skill moves.
What is the advantage of the 360 Agility soleplate?
The soleplate has specially shaped and positioned studs that allow for creative, multi-directional movement and quick changes of direction, providing agility on FG/AG surfaces.
Can these boots be used by both boys and girls?
Yes, these boots are designed with unisex appeal, focusing on performance features suitable for any young player.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable
Ensure you have the correct size. Wear thin football socks during the initial fitting. The adaptive-fit upper will mold to your foot over time, but if discomfort persists, consider a different size or model.
Reduced grip or slipping during play
Check that you are using the boots on the intended FG/AG surfaces. Ensure the studs are clean and free from mud or debris. If the surface is excessively wet or soft, these boots may not provide adequate traction.
Stitching or material appears damaged
Inspect the boots for any manufacturing defects. For normal wear and tear, minor scuffs are expected. Refer to the product warranty information if you suspect a defect.
Difficulty manipulating the ball
Ensure the boots are clean and dry. The enhanced haptics and grip lines are designed to improve ball feel; consistent practice will help you take full advantage of these features.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
These boots are designed for direct play. Ensure the correct size is selected for optimal fit and performance. The traditional lacing system allows for a customized lockdown.
Compatibility:
- Ground Type: Primarily designed for Firm Ground (FG) and Artificial Ground (AG). Use on these surfaces will yield the best performance and durability.
- Not Recommended For: Soft Ground (SG), hard or muddy pitches, or indoor courts, as the stud configuration is not optimized for these conditions and could lead to reduced performance or potential injury.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt with a soft brush or dry cloth. For tougher dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Stuff boots with newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture and help them retain their shape. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a breathable bag, to prevent moisture buildup and maintain their condition.
