No, the Carina Street is categorized as a lifestyle trainer and is not designed for the impact or support required for long-distance running.
PUMA trainers generally follow standard UK sizing. If you have wider feet, consider going up half a size to ensure a comfortable fit.
It is strongly recommended not to machine wash these trainers, as water and heat can damage the leather components and adhesives.
While the leather upper provides some resistance against light moisture, they are not classified as waterproof.
The PUMA Carina Street trainers feature a durable leather upper designed for both style and longevity.
Loosen the laces significantly and wear thin cotton socks for the first few outings to allow the leather to stretch slightly.
Use a specialized sneaker eraser or a damp cloth with a mild soap solution to gently buff away scuffs.
Ensure you are using a double knot or a secure reef knot to maintain tension throughout the day.
When you first receive your PUMA Carina Street trainers, ensure the fit is snug but not tight across the bridge of the foot. Since these are leather-based, they will naturally conform slightly to your foot shape after a few days of wear. To care for your trainers, avoid submerging them in water. Instead, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and use a gentle leather cleaner for stubborn dirt. Always allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the material.
