The SALOMON XT-6 Trainers are high-performance shoes designed for active adults who prioritize both rugged durability and a refined, modern aesthetic. These trainers offer exceptional stability and lightweight comfort, making them ideal for long days on your feet or varied urban terrain; however, users should note that the technical construction is optimized for performance, which may feel firmer than traditional lifestyle sneakers.

The standard SALOMON XT-6 is designed for breathability rather than full waterproofing; avoid heavy rain or standing water.
Most users find the XT-6 fits true to size, but since they are performance-oriented, you may prefer a half-size up if you wear thick hiking socks.
While derived from trail heritage, the XT-6 is best suited for walking, daily urban wear, and light activity rather than intensive marathon running.
Use a gentle cloth with mild detergent and warm water. Avoid submerging the shoes fully.
The XT-6 has a more anatomical, snug fit. If you have very wide feet, you may find the standard width slightly restrictive.
The XT-6 has a technical fit; try wearing thinner socks for the first few outings until the material conforms to your foot shape.
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry debris and a specialized sneaker cleaning solution to gently spot clean the white areas.
To ensure the longevity of your SALOMON XT-6 trainers, it is important to follow proper maintenance steps. Always ensure you are selecting the correct UK size, as the XT-6 series features a precise, technical fit. For care, keep the shoes away from heavy mud to maintain the white exterior. If they become dirty, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or drying, as this can degrade the specialized bonding materials in the shoe.
