Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure hygiene and longevity, follow these care guidelines:
- Initial Preparation: Before the first use, inspect the pacifier by pulling the teat in all directions. Sterilize the product according to the packaging instructions.
- Daily Cleaning: Natural rubber is sensitive to heat and light. To sterilize, use the 'scalding' method: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it, and let it sit for a few minutes before letting it cool and squeezing out excess water.
- Replacement Cycle: Due to the nature of the latex, you must replace the dummy every 4-6 weeks. Replace immediately if you notice cracks, sticky spots, or enlargement of the teat.
- Storage: Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources, which can cause the natural rubber to degrade prematurely.
