The Coast Muse Sequin & Mesh Maxi Wedding Dress is designed for the modern bride seeking a blend of timeless elegance and contemporary design. Its key benefit lies in its striking contrast between an intricately embellished bodice and a flowing satin skirt, creating a balanced silhouette that moves beautifully. A potential caveat is its delicate embellishments, which may require careful handling and specific care to maintain their pristine condition.

Seamless undergarments are recommended to maintain a smooth silhouette under the satin skirt and the fitted bodice. Consider a strapless bra or a bra with clear straps depending on the neckline and strap configuration.
Yes, like most bridal gowns, this dress can be altered by a professional seamstress to achieve a perfect fit. However, alterations to the embellished bodice should be handled with extreme care.
Store the dress in a breathable garment bag, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid plastic garment bags as they can trap moisture. Ensure there is enough space to prevent crushing or snagging.
For short distances, keep the dress in its garment bag on a hanger. For longer journeys, consider having it professionally packed in a specialized bridal travel box or transporting it on a flat surface where it won't be crushed.
The description suggests the shoulder scarf is a distinctive feature integrated with the spaghetti straps. While potentially alterable by a seamstress, it is designed as part of the dress's aesthetic.
The dress is versatile. The sequin and mesh bodice offers some warmth, making it suitable for cooler weather when paired with a jacket or wrap. The flowing skirt and spaghetti straps also make it appropriate for warmer seasons or indoor events.
Carefully stitch any loose sequins or appliqués back into place using a fine needle and matching thread. For significant detachment, consult a professional seamstress.
Hang the dress in a steamy bathroom for a short period or use a steamer on a low setting, holding it at a safe distance. For stubborn creases, professional steaming is advised.
Spot clean minor stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. For larger or persistent stains, professional dry cleaning is the safest option.
Ensure the spaghetti straps are properly adjusted and the draped shoulder scarf is securely attached. If issues persist, a tailor can reinforce the strap attachments.
This dress requires no 'setup' in the traditional sense; it is ready to wear. Ensure you have appropriate undergarments that lay smoothly beneath the satin skirt and the embellished bodice.
Care Instructions:
Due to the delicate nature of the sequins, mesh, and appliqués, professional dry cleaning is strongly recommended. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying. When ironing, use a low heat setting and iron on the reverse side, preferably placing a cloth between the iron and the fabric. Store the dress in a breathable garment bag to protect it from dust and snagging. Handle the draped shoulder scarf with care to prevent stretching or damage.
