FAQs

Is the light bulb included with the lamp?

Please verify your specific retailer package, as bulb inclusion can vary. It is recommended to use an LED bulb to keep the shade cool.

Can I use this lamp in a bathroom?

This lamp is designed for dry, indoor living spaces. It should not be placed in bathrooms or areas with high humidity to prevent damage.

Is the white finish easy to keep clean?

Yes, the white finish is durable. Regular, light dusting will keep it looking fresh without the need for deep cleaning.

What is the primary material used?

The ST906 utilizes premium materials typical of Tom Rossau designs, chosen for their ability to diffuse light effectively and maintain the lamp's sculptural form.

Does it require assembly?

The lamp arrives largely pre-assembled; usually, you only need to install the bulb and connect it to power.

Does the lamp get hot?

When using an appropriate, energy-efficient LED bulb, the lamp generates very little heat, making it safe for prolonged use.

Troubleshooting

Lamp will not turn on

Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the wall outlet and check that the bulb is screwed in correctly.

Light appears dim or flickering

Verify that the bulb is compatible with the lamp's specifications and ensure it is tightened firmly in the socket.

Visible dust buildup in the folds

Use a can of compressed air held at a distance to gently blow away debris from the inner crevices of the shell-inspired shade.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up your ST906 is straightforward; simply place the lamp on a stable, flat surface away from direct heat sources. Due to its minimalist design, it is compatible with most interior styles, from mid-century modern to contemporary. To maintain the lamp's beauty, avoid using harsh chemical cleaners. Dust the shade lightly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a feather duster. If more intensive cleaning is required, ensure the lamp is unplugged and use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth, ensuring the surface is dried immediately to prevent any moisture buildup within the organic folds of the shade.
