FAQs
Are these shoes waterproof?
The Golflite range is designed for durability, but they are not marketed as fully waterproof. Avoid standing in deep puddles for extended periods.
Can I use these for walking on concrete?
While they are comfortable, they are engineered for turf and golf surfaces. Excessive use on abrasive surfaces like concrete will cause premature wear on the outsoles.
How do I find my size?
These shoes follow standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to choose your usual athletic shoe size.
Are these shoes suitable for winter golf?
They offer great support and stability, but they are best suited for dry or mild weather conditions.
Do I need to replace the spikes?
The Golflite design uses an integrated traction system that does not require traditional replaceable spikes, simplifying maintenance.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel tight after a long round
Feet naturally swell during activity; ensure you are wearing moisture-wicking golf socks and consider loosening the laces slightly mid-round if discomfort persists.
Visible dirt accumulation on the outer material
Use a soft brush or cloth with mild soapy water to gently scrub the affected areas, then pat dry with a clean towel.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Superior stability for consistent swing mechanics
- Durable build quality for long-term use
- Comfortable fit suitable for 18-hole rounds
- Clean, professional design aesthetic
Cons
- Limited to golfing activities
- Non-breathable material may get warm in extreme heat
- Requires proper sizing for optimal performance
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best experience, ensure you have selected the correct UK sizing for your foot profile. Before your first round, it is recommended to wear the shoes for a short practice session to allow the material to conform to your feet. To keep your Golflite shoes in optimal condition, wipe them down with a soft, damp cloth after every round to remove grass, dirt, and moisture. Avoid using harsh chemicals or industrial cleaners, as these may degrade the finish. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally in a cool, shaded area away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent material warping.
