Due to the delicate nature of chiffon and the rope strap design, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended.
Chiffon typically has minimal stretch; however, the lace-up back and adjustable straps provide flexibility in fitting the bodice.
Due to the cowl neck and lace-up back, a standard bra may be visible. A backless or adhesive bra is recommended for the best aesthetic result.
The split is designed to be elegant and subtle, providing ease of movement while maintaining a formal look.
Strappy heels in silver, gold, or nude tones complement the rich blue hue and the flowy nature of the skirt.
Adjust the tension of the rope straps at the connection point and ensure the lace-up back is tightened sufficiently to provide bodice support.
Use a handheld garment steamer on a low heat setting, keeping the nozzle a few inches away from the fabric, to gently release creases.
Do not attempt to pull the thread. Gently manipulate the surrounding fabric to help the pulled thread work itself back into the weave, then have a tailor inspect it if necessary.
Before wearing, ensure the straps are adjusted to your preferred tension. The dress is designed to be worn with seamless undergarments to maintain the clean lines of the chiffon. Because of the delicate lace-up back, it is recommended to have someone assist you with the final cinching to ensure even tension. For care, this garment should be professionally dry cleaned to preserve the integrity of the chiffon and the rope strap details. Avoid contact with sharp jewelry or rough surfaces that could pull the delicate weave of the fabric.
