Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the area to be repaired or modified is clean, dry, and free from grease or dust.
- Open and Knead: Carefully open the Sugru pack. Knead the putty between your fingers for about 30 seconds until it becomes soft and pliable.
- Apply and Mould: Apply the kneaded Sugru to the desired area. Mould and shape it by hand or using a simple tool.
- Cure: Leave the applied Sugru to cure at room temperature for 12-24 hours. Avoid disturbing it during this time. Full cure strength is achieved after this period.
Compatibility:
Sugru bonds to a wide range of materials including:
- Ceramics
- Glass
- Wood
- Most Metals
- Most Plastics
- Fabric
- Concrete
- Porcelain
Care:
Once Sugru has fully cured into a rubber, it is very durable. Clean the cured Sugru with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, mild soap can be used. It is resistant to water, UV light, and temperature fluctuations, meaning minimal special care is required after application.
