The ACG ZoomX Ultrafly Trail SP is designed for breathability and quick drying on the trail, but it is not marketed as a fully waterproof or GORE-TEX shoe.
While technically possible, the aggressive outsole lugs are designed for soft or uneven terrain and may experience premature wear if used primarily on concrete or asphalt.
Gently wipe the midsole with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging the entire shoe or using harsh chemicals.
The fit is engineered for a secure, performance-oriented lockdown; if you have particularly wide feet, you may find the fit quite snug.
For the best experience, wear technical moisture-wicking hiking or running socks to prevent blisters and manage sweat.
Adjust the lacing using a runner's loop or double knot to better lock the heel in place.
Tap the outsoles together after your run or use a stiff brush to clear debris from the traction patterns.
ZoomX foam can firm up in freezing temperatures; allow the shoes to warm up in a room-temperature space before use.
For optimal performance, ensure your ACG ZoomX Ultrafly Trail SP is laced snugly to allow the internal lockdown features to secure your midfoot. These shoes are compatible with standard trail socks, though moisture-wicking synthetic blends are recommended to enhance comfort. To maintain your shoes, remove dried mud after each use with a soft-bristled brush. If they become heavily soiled, hand wash them with cold water and mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the cushioning foam.
