Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure laces are tied snugly but not overly tight. This secures your foot and maximizes the shoe's close-to-ball feel and responsiveness.
- Socks: Wear appropriate football socks designed for moisture-wicking and comfort to prevent blisters and enhance fit.
- Break-in: If new, wear the shoes for short periods during light training sessions to allow them to mold to your feet before intense matches.
Compatibility
These shoes are specifically designed for turf (TF) football pitches. They are not recommended for natural grass (FG, SG) or indoor (IC) surfaces, as the outsole's traction pattern is optimized for artificial turf and may not perform safely or effectively on other terrains.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, gently tap the shoes together to remove loose turf pellets and dirt. Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) to clear any debris from the outsole studs.
- Wiping Down: Wipe the synthetic upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and grime. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the material.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers), as this can cause the material to crack or deform.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
