The Trespass Jodie Waterproof Jacket is designed for female hikers, walkers, and everyday explorers who need a reliable barrier against unpredictable weather. The key benefit of this garment is its combination of robust waterproof protection and breathable construction, which keeps you dry without overheating during active use. Please note that while it is highly effective against rain and wind, it functions primarily as a protective shell rather than a heavy insulating layer, meaning you should layer accordingly in sub-zero temperatures.

Yes, you can machine wash the jacket, but please follow the care label instructions and use gentle detergents.
No, it is a waterproof shell jacket designed for layering rather than providing inherent warmth.
Yes, the design typically includes features to help secure the hood for better protection in windy conditions.
A fleece or a technical mid-layer is recommended to trap body heat while the jacket blocks the elements.
Keep the jacket clean, as dirt and oil can clog the breathable pores and degrade the water-repellent coating.
The DWR coating may have worn off; wash the jacket and re-apply a technical waterproofing spray.
Ensure you are using appropriate moisture-wicking base layers rather than cotton, which traps sweat.
To ensure the longevity of your waterproof jacket, always follow the care label instructions. Generally, you should wash the jacket on a gentle cycle using a non-biological detergent and avoid harsh fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproofing treatment. If the jacket begins to absorb water rather than beading it off, you may need to re-apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray.
When storing, ensure the jacket is completely dry before hanging it in a cool, ventilated area. Avoid storing it compressed in a ball for long periods, as this can degrade the taped seams and the integrity of the material.
