Yes, the Omni 9 was originally designed as a high-performance trainer and provides the cushioning and support required for long-distance road running.
The ProGrid Omni 9 fits true to size with a standard athletic width. If you have particularly wide feet, you may consider sizing up by a half-size.
While excellent for treadmill and cardio-based gym sessions, the cushioned sole may be less stable for heavy compound weightlifting like squats.
No, machine washing can damage the structural integrity and cushioning properties of the shoe. Stick to hand cleaning with a damp cloth.

Use a double-knot or tuck the ends under the cross-section of the laces to keep them secure.
Use a dry, soft brush to gently flick off dust before it becomes embedded in the fabric weave.
Adjust the lacing pattern to a 'parallel' or 'gap' style to relieve pressure while maintaining a secure heel lock.
To get the most out of your ProGrid Omni 9, ensure you are wearing the correct size to account for the snug, secure lockdown of the upper. For maintenance, keep the shoes away from heavy mud or water exposure to preserve the original mesh and synthetic materials. If cleaning is required, use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface debris and wipe the midsole with a damp, soft cloth. Never submerge the trainers in water or place them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the specialized ProGrid foam and bonding adhesives.
