Using Aqua Optima's advanced technology, Evolve+ cartridges filter and purify your tap water 3 times faster than the leading brand. This Oria jug comes supplied with 1 Evolve+ water filter cartridges, enough for a 1 month or 100 litre supply of filtered tap water. Additional Evolve+ water filter cartridges are available separately. With a slim footprint the Oria water filter jug is designed to fit most fridge doors and has a total 2.8 litre and a 1.4 litre filtered water capacity. Jug dimensions are: Height 250mm, Width 260mm, Depth 110mm. For ease of use the Oria water filter jugs have a easy fill pour through lid so there is no need to remove the jug lid when refilling. Aqua Optima water filter jugs are made from food grade BPA free plastic which is 100% safe and non-toxic. They are also designed for cleaning using the top rack of the dishwasher. Filtered tap water reduces the level of chemicals and impurities that can impair the taste of your drinks. Enjoy better tasting hot and cold drinks and improved look and taste of cooked vegetables when you use Aqua Optima Evolve+ water filters. Replacing your bottled water to filtered tap water using Aqua Optima water filter cartridges will considerably reduce the amount of plastic bottles used. Each filter can potentially remove 200 single use plastic bottles from use, and reduce your carbon footprint. At just 4p per litre, filtered water is also up to 95% cheaper than buying bottled water. One of the ingredients in our filter is activated carbon, which helps to reduce chlorine and organics, such as pesticides and herbicides. Normally these finer particles are flushed out during filter preparation i.e. by soaking and flushing or running the filter under a tap until clear. We recommend the following: 1) Remove the filter from the inner vessel. 2) Shake it vigorously to loosen and redistribute the filter media. 3) Rinse the filter briefly under a cold tap. 4) Refit to the inner vessel.
