The Belstaff Tourer Overshirt in Black is an essential piece for men seeking a functional yet refined outer layer for the transitional spring and summer seasons. Crafted from lightweight, recycled nylon shell fabric, this overshirt offers a crisp aesthetic and a practical water-repellent finish, making it perfect for unpredictable weather. While its lightweight design provides excellent versatility for layering, users should note that it is intended as a secondary layer rather than a heavy-duty winter jacket, as it lacks internal thermal insulation.

It is water-repellent, meaning it will protect you against light rain, but it is not fully waterproof and should not be relied upon in heavy, sustained rain.
The overshirt is lightweight and uninsulated. It is best suited for spring and summer, or as a layering piece under a warmer coat during the winter.
Use a gentle, cold machine wash cycle. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and tumble drying to preserve the nylon material.
The Belstaff Tourer is designed as a classic fit; if you intend to wear thick layers underneath, you may consider sizing up.
While it is made from nylon, the fabric has a high-quality finish that minimizes the 'swishing' sound often associated with cheaper shell materials.
The water-repellent finish may be wearing off; consider applying a light fabric-safe DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray specifically designed for nylon garments.
Avoid high-heat ironing. Instead, hang the garment in the bathroom while taking a hot shower to allow the steam to gently relax the fibers.
Because the Tourer Overshirt is a garment, no technical setup is required. To maintain the water-repellent properties of the recycled nylon fabric, it is recommended to follow the manufacturer's care label instructions. Generally, machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can compromise the water-repellent coating. Air drying is best to maintain the fabric's shape and integrity over time. For storage, hang the overshirt in a cool, dry place to prevent wrinkling.
