FAQs

Is the fabric waterproof?

No, the fabric is designed to be breathable and moisture-wicking, not waterproof. It will keep you dry from sweat but may soak through in heavy rain.

What does the XL size correspond to?

The XL size is typically designed for older children or early teens; it is recommended to check the Under Armour size chart for specific height and weight measurements.

Does the tracksuit have zippers on the pockets?

No, the pockets are open hand pockets designed for quick access to essentials.

Can I use this for casual wear?

Absolutely. While designed for performance, the comfortable fit and functional design make it a great option for everyday activities.

How often should I wash it to maintain odor control?

You can wash it after every use, especially after intense physical activity, to ensure the odor control technology remains effective.

Are the pants tapered?

Yes, the inclusion of ankle zips indicates a more athletic, tapered cut that prevents the fabric from getting in the way while running.

Troubleshooting

Drawcord gets pulled inside the waistband

Use a safety pin attached to the end of the cord to carefully feed it back through the eyelet.

Garment feels stiff after washing

Ensure you are not using fabric softeners, which can leave a residue on synthetic technical fibers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Quick-drying fabric keeps athletes dry during practice
  • Ankle zips make putting on/taking off over cleats very simple
  • Odor control technology reduces maintenance needs
  • Lightweight and breathable for all-day comfort
  • Secure adjustable waistband ensures it stays in place during movement

Cons

  • Hand pockets are open rather than zippered, so items may fall out during activity
  • Athletic fit may run smaller than loose casual clothing
  • Limited to specific grey colorway

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your Under Armour tracksuit in top condition, follow these care guidelines:

  1. Washing: Machine wash cold with similar colors. Use only non-chlorine bleach if needed.
  2. Drying: Tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron or use fabric softeners, as these can compromise the moisture-wicking performance of the fabric.
  3. Compatibility: The XL size is designed for older kids or pre-teens. The fit is intended to be athletic, so it pairs well with base layers during colder months or can be worn alone for warm-weather training.
  4. Storage: Hang the jacket and fold the pants to maintain the shape of the elastic components.
