The George Home Flatweave Rug is an ideal choice for homeowners seeking a practical, low-maintenance flooring solution for high-traffic areas like hallways, kitchens, or entryways. Its primary strength lies in its durable flatweave construction and integrated anti-slip gel backing, which provides safety and stability on hard floors without requiring separate rug pads. While it excels in utility and ease of cleaning, users should be aware that the flatweave pile is designed for durability rather than luxury underfoot plushness, making it less suitable for areas where maximum softness is the priority.

This rug is designed for spot cleaning. Machine washing may damage the integrity of the gel backing.
Yes, the materials are generally safe for use with underfloor heating, but avoid prolonged exposure to very high temperatures.
Being a flatweave, it is significantly more resistant to shedding than shag or long-pile rugs.
Cutting the rug is not recommended as it may cause the edges to fray and compromise the structured border design.
It is intended for indoor use only. Outdoor moisture will degrade the backing and the woven materials.
Place a heavy, flat object like a book on the corners for 24-48 hours to help them relax back into a flat position.
Ensure the floor beneath is clean and dry. Dust or floor wax can reduce the effectiveness of the gel backing.
Setting up the rug is straightforward; simply roll it out on a clean, dry floor, and the anti-slip backing will engage immediately. Ensure your floor is free of dust or debris before placing the rug to maximize the grip of the gel layer. For cleaning, regular vacuuming on a low-suction setting is recommended to prevent excessive fiber wear. If a spill occurs, blot the area immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth rather than rubbing, which can damage the weave. While the backing is durable, avoid exposing the rug to excessive moisture or direct sunlight for prolonged periods to maintain the integrity of the gel material over several years.
