Full details

Liquitex Matte Medium is a professional-quality acrylic medium designed to reduce surface shine, improve paint flow, and extend color while maintaining pigment strength. Perfect for artists looking to achieve a smooth, matte finish in their work. Soft Matte Finish: Minimizes glare and creates a flat, even surface. Enhances Paint Flow & Blending: Improves workability for smoother application and seamless transitions. Extends Paint Volume: Increases coverage without affecting color intensity. Flexible & Non-Yellowing: Dries to a strong, archival-quality finish that resists cracking. Ideal for Mixed Media: Suitable for glazing, layering, and collage work. For artists seeking greater control over their acrylics while achieving a professional matte look, Liquitex Matte Medium is an essential addition to any creative toolkit. Creates a matte, non-reflecting finish when added to acrylic colours. Lightweight and non-toxic. Opaque when wet and translucent when dry. Intermixable with Liquitex Professional acrylic paint colours and mediums. Conforms to ASTM D4239.
