Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your jacket remains waterproof, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Layering: Wear a moisture-wicking base layer and an insulating mid-layer (such as a fleece or light down jacket) underneath to optimize thermal regulation.
- Cleaning: Wash in a machine with cold water on a gentle cycle. Use a technical fabric cleaner if possible to maintain the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish.
- Drying: Air dry the jacket whenever possible. If using a dryer, select a low-heat setting to avoid damaging the waterproof coating.
- Storage: Hang the jacket in a cool, dry place to maintain the shape of the hood and collar. Avoid folding it tightly for long periods to preserve the fabric's integrity.
