The Regatta Finchdale Marl Full Zip Hooded Midlayer is designed for adult men who need a reliable, insulating garment for climbing, outdoor work, or cool-weather hiking. Its primary benefit is the combination of warmth-trapping fleece and high-mobility stretch panels, providing comfort without restricting movement. One notable caveat is that as a midlayer, it is best suited for layering under a waterproof shell in heavy rain, as the polyester fleece itself is not weather-proof.

Pilling is common with synthetic fleeces; use a fabric shaver or lint remover to gently restore the surface texture.
Ensure the fabric is not caught in the zip track; if it remains stiff, lightly rub a pencil lead or zipper lubricant along the teeth to improve movement.
To maintain the integrity of the fleece and the stretch panels, wash the garment in cool water with similar colours using a gentle cycle. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can degrade the moisture-wicking capabilities of the polyester fibers. It is recommended to hang-dry the midlayer to prevent shrinking or damage to the synthetic stretch ripstop panels. Because this is a midlayer, ensure your outer shell allows enough room for the fleece; layering too tightly may compress the insulation and reduce its effectiveness at trapping warmth. Store in a dry, ventilated area when not in use to maintain the fabric's loft.
