Troubleshooting
The lid does not close fully or stays open
Check the hinge mechanism for any debris or obstructions and ensure the internal bucket is fully inserted, as a misaligned bucket can interfere with the lid closure.
The foot pedal feels stiff or unresponsive
Verify that the unit is on a level surface and that the internal linkage mechanism is clear of any dropped trash or liquid spills.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the N°712 is straightforward: simply position the bin in your desired location, ensuring the back has enough clearance for the lid to open fully. To maintain the matte grey finish, clean only with a soft, damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive soap; avoid using steel wool or harsh chemicals that could damage the fingerprint-resistant coating. The inner bucket should be rinsed periodically to prevent buildup of residues. Ensure you use standard 30-liter waste liners, and tuck any excess bag material into the rim of the inner bucket to keep the exterior looking clean and modern.
