Dainese Metrax Air Gloves - Black

The Dainese Metrax Air Gloves are best suited for urban commuting and shorter rides due to their lightweight, ventilated design. For long-distance touring, especially in varying weather conditions, gloves with more insulation and protection might be more appropriate.

These gloves offer basic protection suitable for urban riding, focusing on abrasion resistance from their textile construction. They do not feature advanced armor or rigid knuckle protection found on sport-oriented gloves.

These gloves are designed primarily for dry, warm weather. They are not waterproof and will not provide adequate protection in rain.

Consult the Dainese size guide, typically found on their website or product packaging. Measure the circumference of your palm and the length of your middle finger, then compare these measurements to the provided size chart.

The Smart Touch insert allows you to operate touch-sensitive electronic devices, such as smartphones and GPS units, with the fingertip of your glove. This means you can navigate, answer calls, or use apps without removing your gloves.

Yes, while this guide focuses on the Black variant, the Dainese Metrax Air Gloves are often available in other color options such as Blue.

Ensure the insert and the device screen are clean and dry. Try pressing more firmly or adjusting your touch. Some glove designs may have specific optimal contact points.

Refer to the Dainese size guide for accurate measurements. A proper fit is crucial for comfort and control. Adjust the closure system for a secure, but not constricting, fit.

While highly ventilated, extreme heat can still be challenging. Ensure the gloves are not excessively tight, which can restrict airflow. Consider taking brief breaks if needed.
