These Dr. Martens Dunnet Flower sandals are designed for adults seeking a blend of 90s-inspired style and durable comfort. The key benefit is their unique floral cut-out design paired with a comfortable, supportive sole. A potential caveat is that the leather material may require a break-in period. FAQs

What type of leather are these sandals made from?

The sandals are made from textured, full-grain AR Rogue leather.

How do I adjust the fit of the sandals?

The sandals feature adjustable buckle straps that allow you to customize the fit across the foot.

Are these sandals suitable for wide feet?

The adjustable buckle straps offer some flexibility, but the overall fit depends on the sandal's base width. It's recommended to try them on if possible or check customer reviews regarding fit for wider feet.

What is the sole construction?

The sandals feature a grooved, air-cushioned Quad Shore platform sole secured with a durable Goodyear welt and classic yellow welt stitching.

How should I clean the floral cut-out detail?

Use a slightly damp cloth to gently clean the area. Avoid harsh scrubbing to preserve the intricate detail and the leather around it.

Can I wear these sandals in wet conditions?

While the Goodyear welt offers some durability, it is not recommended to wear these leather sandals in heavy rain or wet conditions as it can damage the leather and suede components.

What is the heel height of the platform sole?

The product details specify a 'Quad Shore platform sole,' indicating a substantial platform, though an exact measurement is not provided. It's designed to offer a noticeable lift and cushioning.

Troubleshooting

Sandals feel stiff or uncomfortable.

The leather may require a break-in period. Wear them for short periods initially and gradually increase wear time. Using a leather conditioner can also help soften the material.

Buckle strap is difficult to fasten.

Ensure the buckle prongs are aligned correctly with the strap holes. If the leather is new, it might be stiff. Gentle manipulation may be needed.

Leather shows scuffs or marks.

Minor scuffs can often be buffed out with a soft cloth. For more significant marks, use a leather cleaner and conditioner appropriate for full-grain leather. Test any cleaner on an inconspicuous area first.

Suede footbed feels rough or worn.

Use a soft suede brush to gently lift and restore the nap of the suede. Avoid getting the footbed excessively wet, as this can damage the suede.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup: The Dr. Martens Dunnet Flower sandals require no assembly. Upon receiving, ensure the buckles are adjusted to your comfort.

Compatibility: These sandals are designed for adult female footwear, specifically UK size 6 in this variant. They are compatible with a wide range of casual outfits.

Care: To maintain the quality of the AR Rogue leather, use a damp cloth to wipe away dirt. For deeper cleaning, a specialized leather cleaner can be used. Allow the leather to dry naturally away from direct heat. For the suede footbed, gentle brushing can help maintain its texture. Avoid exposing the sandals to excessive moisture or harsh chemicals. Regular conditioning with a suitable leather conditioner will help preserve the leather's suppleness and prevent cracking.
