FAQs
Are these sandals suitable for water activities?
Yes, the rubber material is water-resistant and quick-drying, making them ideal for beach and pool use.
How do I find the correct size for my child?
Measure your child's foot from heel to toe and compare it with the Havaianas size chart. Look for the UK children's sizing (often indicated as 'Kids' or 'Infant').
Can these sandals be worn for sports?
No, these are casual flip-flops and are not designed for sports or activities requiring significant support and grip, such as running or jumping.
How should I clean these sandals?
Clean with mild soap and water using a soft cloth. Rinse and allow to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
What is the warranty for Havaianas sandals?
Havaianas typically offer a manufacturer's warranty against defects. Please refer to the specific retailer's or Havaianas' official website for detailed warranty information.
Are these sandals suitable for everyday wear?
Yes, they are designed for comfortable everyday casual wear during warmer months.
Troubleshooting
Sandal feels too tight or too loose.
Check the size on the sandal and compare it to your child's foot measurement. Consult the Havaianas sizing chart if unsure. If the size is correct but the fit is still off, consider the strap width may not be ideal for your child's foot shape.
Discoloration after exposure to elements.
While durable, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or certain chemicals can cause slight discoloration. This is typically cosmetic and does not affect performance. Clean with mild soap and water and allow to air dry away from direct heat.
Slippery when wet.
The rubber sole provides some grip, but like most flip-flops, they can become slippery on very wet, smooth surfaces. Ensure your child walks carefully on wet tiles or polished floors.
