FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?
Yes, the V5 RNR is designed with extra room in the forefoot, which is generally more accommodating for wider feet than standard slim-fit trainers.
Can I replace the elastic laces with standard laces?
The elastic laces are integrated into the design for convenience, but they can be replaced with standard laces if a more secure, custom fit is required.
Are these trainers machine washable?
No, machine washing can damage the structural integrity and the adhesive components of the shoes. We recommend spot cleaning.
Do these shoes provide arch support?
They feature a cushioned foam midsole that offers basic support, but they are not classified as orthopaedic footwear.
What is the primary material of the upper?
The upper is constructed from breathable mesh with synthetic leather overlays for added durability.
Troubleshooting
The shoe feels too tight across the top of the foot
Adjust the tension of the elastic laces slightly; since they are pre-fitted, you can manually guide them to distribute tension more evenly.
Outsole losing traction
Check the tread pattern for trapped pebbles or debris and clean the rubber surface with a damp cloth to restore grip.
Pros and Cons

Cons
- Elastic laces offer less adjustable lockdown than tied laces
- Grey and black colorway may show dirt easily
- Not intended for specialized high-performance sports
Setup, Compatibility & Care
These trainers are designed for a 'ready-to-wear' experience. Because they utilize elastic laces, there is no manual setup required; simply slide the foot in. To maintain the appearance and functionality of your Nike V5 RNR trainers, follow these care steps:
- Cleaning: Wipe away loose dirt or mud with a damp cloth or soft brush.
- Avoid Immersion: Do not submerge the shoes in water or place them in a washing machine, as this can break down the adhesives and cushioning materials.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can deform the synthetic overlays.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place when not in use to preserve the integrity of the foam midsole.
