Yes, the Kickers Kick Hi Classic boots offer a high-profile design with ankle support and a grippy rubber sole, which can be beneficial for early walkers by providing stability and traction.
For basic cleaning, wipe the leather with a damp cloth to remove dirt. For deeper cleaning or scuffs, use a specialized leather cleaner and a soft brush. Follow up with a leather conditioner to keep the material supple.
UK size 8 infant boots generally fit toddlers around 18-24 months of age, but this can vary significantly by individual child. Always measure your child's feet to ensure the best fit.
While the premium leather offers some natural resistance to light moisture, these boots are not fully waterproof. For better water resistance, you can apply a suitable leather protector spray.
Their durable leather construction makes them suitable for various seasons. They provide warmth in cooler weather and breathability for comfort, making them a versatile choice for year-round wear, depending on local climate.
Measure your child's feet regularly, as they grow quickly. When trying on the boots, ensure there is about a thumb's width of space at the toe and that the boot is comfortable across the width without pinching. Have your child walk around to check for comfort.
The sole unit is made of durable rubber, designed for grip and longevity.
Ensure the laces are not pulled too tightly. Check if your child is wearing very thick socks. If the issue persists, your child may have outgrown the boots, and a larger size might be needed. Remember to check for proper toe space.
Clean the boots thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Apply a quality leather conditioner or polish, buffing gently with a soft brush or cloth to restore shine and protect the leather.
Inspect the rubber grip sole for excessive wear or blockages (like mud or debris) in the aggressive tread pattern. Clean the sole if necessary. Ensure the walking surface is appropriate for the footwear.
Ensure you are tying a secure knot, ideally a double knot, especially for active children. Consider replacing old, worn laces with new, sturdy ones if they are frayed.
Ensure the laces are loosened sufficiently before attempting to put on or take off the boots. For infants, gentle manipulation of the foot is often necessary to slide it in and out.
