The Trespass Ahmor Casual Jacket is an ideal choice for adults seeking a reliable outer layer for daily outdoor use in unpredictable climates. FAQs
Is this jacket machine washable?
It is recommended to spot clean with a damp cloth. Machine washing may degrade the PVC coating over time.
Can I use this jacket in heavy rain?
The jacket is designed for light rain and wind protection. It is not rated as a fully waterproof technical jacket for heavy downpours.
What material is the lining made of?
The jacket features a soft-touch lining designed for comfort and moderate heat retention.
How do I ensure the best fit?
Use the adjustable hood toggles to secure the head area and ensure your size choice allows for thin layers underneath if desired.
Is the jacket breathable?
While the PVC coating provides weather protection, the design balances this with a soft interior lining suitable for casual outdoor activities.
Troubleshooting
Zipper feels stiff or catches
Check for debris or fabric caught in the teeth and gently clean with a soft brush.
Water beads no longer forming on surface
The protective coating may have worn thin; consider using a specialized water-repellent spray designed for synthetic fabrics.
Hood feels loose in windy conditions
Ensure the toggle cords are fully tightened and locked into place at the base of the hood.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Reliable water and wind resistance
- Soft, comfortable interior lining
- Functional pocket storage for essentials
- Adjustable features for a personalized fit
Cons
- Not intended for heavy torrential rain
- Limited to casual rather than professional technical activities
- Requires careful cleaning to maintain the coating
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because this jacket uses a PVC coating to achieve its water resistance, it is important to handle it with care to preserve the integrity of the material. To clean, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid using harsh chemical detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the protective finish. Do not tumble dry or dry clean the jacket; instead, hang it up in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources to air dry. Ensure all zippers are fully closed when not in use to maintain the shape of the garment.
