Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
First Use
Upon receiving your jumper, gently unfold it. While it's ready to wear, consider a gentle wash before the first wear to refresh the fabric, especially if you have sensitive skin.
Compatibility
This brown cable knit jumper is highly versatile. It pairs well with:
- Bottoms: Chinos, jeans (dark wash or light wash), tailored trousers, corduroys.
- Shirts: Collared shirts (oxford cloth, denim) for a layered look, or a simple crew-neck t-shirt underneath.
- Outerwear: Blazers, denim jackets, trench coats, or puffer vests.
- Footwear: Loafers, boots, clean sneakers, or dress shoes.
Product Care
Proper care is crucial to maintain the 100% cotton quality and the classic cable knit integrity of your jumper.
- Washing: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Using a mesh laundry bag can help protect the knit.
- Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, which can damage cotton fibers and fade the color.
- Drying: Lay flat to dry on a clean, dry surface to prevent stretching or shrinking. Avoid hanging wet knitwear, as this can distort its shape. Tumble drying on low heat is possible but may lead to shrinkage; air drying is preferred.
- Ironing: If necessary, iron on a low heat setting, turning the jumper inside out to protect the cable knit texture.
- Storage: Fold your jumper neatly and store it in a drawer or on a shelf. Avoid hanging it for extended periods, as this can cause shoulder stretching and distort the shape. Ensure it's clean before storing to prevent mildew or attracting pests. Use cedar blocks for long-term storage if desired.
