Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your Orinoco 3 Edge Loafers are ready to wear right out of the box. While they feature advanced comfort technology, like all new shoes, a brief break-in period may be beneficial to allow the leather to fully conform to your foot's unique shape. Wear them for shorter periods initially to ensure optimal comfort.
Compatibility
These loafers are designed for adult women and are styled to complement a wide array of smart-casual and formal attire. They are suitable for various settings, including office environments, social events, and daily errands.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning Patent Leather: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the patent leather uppers regularly to remove dust and dirt. For a high shine, you can use a patent leather cleaner and conditioner sparingly, following the product instructions. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials which can damage the finish.
- Addressing Scuffs: Minor scuffs on patent leather can sometimes be gently buffed out with a soft cloth. For deeper scuffs, a specialized patent leather repair kit may be necessary. Prevention is key: be mindful of surfaces.
- Storage: Store your loafers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use shoe trees to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture when not in use. Avoid storing them in plastic bags, which can trap moisture.
- Water Exposure: While the TR sole offers good grip, patent leather is not fully waterproof. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or standing water to protect the leather and prevent damage. If they do get wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.
- Sole Care: Periodically check the TR sole for any embedded debris that could affect grip or cause wear. Clean the sole with a brush if necessary.
