Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon receiving your new boots, ensure you are wearing appropriate winter socks to check the fit; leather will naturally soften and mold to your feet over the first few wears. To maintain the leather's longevity and waterproof capability, keep the following care tips in mind:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe off mud and salt after use using a damp cloth. Do not soak the boots.
- Drying: Always let the boots dry naturally at room temperature. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators, as this can cause the leather to crack.
- Conditioning: Apply a leather-safe conditioner periodically to keep the material supple.
- Waterproofing: While the ISOTEX membrane provides internal protection, applying a leather-compatible water repellent spray to the surface can help prevent stains and saturation.
