FAQs
Are the cushion covers removable?
Yes, the seat cushions feature concealed zips that allow for easy removal and cleaning.
Is this sofa suitable for a small apartment?
Yes, the elevated leg design helps it feel less heavy, but ensure you measure your entryway to confirm the scroll arms will clear your door frame.
Does the sofa come in other colors?
Yes, this model is available in Grey, Green, and Beige variants to suit different interior palettes.
Is the seating surface soft or firm?
This sofa features a firm, resilient seat designed for support rather than a 'sink-in' plush feel.
Can the wooden feet be replaced?
The provided feet are designed for this specific frame, but they are standard screw-in attachments.
Troubleshooting
The sofa feels slightly wobbly on the floor.
Check that all wooden feet are screwed in completely and verify your floor level; use felt furniture pads if the floor is uneven.
Cushions appear to shift forward.
The cushions are designed to stay in place, but if they shift, ensure they are pushed firmly back toward the button-studded frame to seat them correctly on the suspension.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Elegant traditional aesthetic
- Sturdy solid wood frame
- Firm, supportive seating
- Easy-access zips for cleaning
- Protective elevated wooden feet
Cons
- Firm cushions may not suit those preferring plush, 'sink-in' sofas
- Requires careful placement due to the substantial scroll arm footprint
- Formal style may clash with ultra-minimalist decor
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The sofa arrives largely assembled; you will primarily need to attach the wooden feet to the base. Ensure you have a partner to help maneuver the piece into place, as the solid wood frame is substantial.
Compatibility
Its versatile design pairs well with classic, transitional, or eclectic decor. It works particularly well when balanced with neutral rugs or metallic accent tables.
Care Instructions
- Vacuum regularly to prevent dust buildup in the button-tufting.
- Use the concealed zips for spot cleaning or professional dry cleaning of cushion covers if necessary.
- Occasionally check that the wooden feet remain tightly fastened to the base to ensure optimal floor protection.
