Full details
Designed for commuters, athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts, the Hydro Flask 946 ml Wide Mouth Bottle provides reliable temperature retention for those who need to stay hydrated on the go. Its primary advantage is the TempShield double-wall vacuum insulation that keeps beverages cold for up to 24 hours, though its 946 ml capacity can feel slightly bulky for those with smaller cup holders or limited pack space.

FAQs
Is the bottle dishwasher safe?
While the bottle itself is stainless steel, we recommend hand washing to preserve the life of the powder-coated finish.
Can I use this for hot beverages?
The bottle is primarily designed for cold beverages; using it for very hot liquids is not recommended with the straw cap as it can create pressure.
Does it fit in standard cup holders?
Due to its 946 ml volume, it may be too wide for some compact car cup holders.
Is the material BPA-free?
Yes, Hydro Flask bottles are made with professional-grade stainless steel and are BPA-free.
How often should I clean the straw?
It is best to rinse the straw daily and perform a deep clean with a straw brush at least once a week.
Troubleshooting
Leakage around the cap area
Verify that the silicone gasket is properly seated within the cap and that the cap is screwed on straight.
Reduced temperature retention
Ensure the lid is tightened securely and that there is no debris trapped in the rubber seal.
Difficulty sipping through the straw
Check that the straw is firmly connected to the underside of the lid and that there are no kinks in the tube.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare your bottle for first use, wash it thoroughly with warm, soapy water and a bottle brush to ensure a clean interior. The wide mouth design is compatible with most standard aftermarket wide-mouth accessories, though the included Flex Straw Cap is optimized for the best seal. For long-term care, we recommend hand washing the body to preserve the exterior finish. Always ensure the straw is fully seated in the cap assembly to maintain a consistent flow rate, and check the silicone gaskets periodically to ensure they remain free of debris.
