Full details
The Under Armour Velociti Pace Trainers are designed for adult male runners seeking a lightweight and responsive shoe for everyday distance running in dry conditions. Their key benefit is the UA HOVR™ cushioning, which provides excellent energy return and impact reduction for a fast feel. A potential caveat is the traditional collar and tongue construction, which may not suit everyone's preferred fit. These trainers feature a breathable mesh upper, a secure internal cage, and a durable rubber outsole.

FAQs
What type of runner is the Velociti Pace best for?
These trainers are ideal for neutral runners who need a balance of flexibility and cushioning, primarily for everyday distance running in dry conditions.
How do I clean the mesh upper?
Use a soft brush or cloth with cool water and mild soap. Gently scrub the mesh and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Allow to air dry completely.
Can I replace the insole?
Yes, the insole is removable, allowing you to replace it with your preferred custom orthotics or a new insole if needed.
What is the offset of these shoes?
The offset is 8mm, which provides a balanced feel between the heel and forefoot.
Are these shoes suitable for trail running?
While the rubber outsole offers some traction, these shoes are primarily designed for road running and light training in dry conditions. They may not provide adequate grip or protection for technical trails.
How do I ensure the best fit?
Lace up the shoes using the standard tie system, adjusting for a secure but comfortable fit. Pay attention to the traditional collar and tongue construction, ensuring it sits well on your ankle.
What climate are these shoes best for?
They are best suited for any climate, but specifically for dry conditions due to the materials and outsole design.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight or loose
Adjust the lacing pattern. Ensure the standard tie laces are secured properly but not overtightened. If the fit is consistently uncomfortable, consider if this model's traditional collar and tongue construction is suitable for your foot shape.
Reduced cushioning or energy return
The UA HOVR™ cushioning may take a few runs to break in fully. Ensure the insoles are correctly positioned. If the issue persists after a break-in period, check for any damage to the midsole.
Traction issues on wet surfaces
The full-length rubber outsole is designed for dry conditions. For wet or slippery surfaces, exercise caution or consider a shoe with a tread pattern optimized for such conditions.
