Full details
The Lugg Skywander 20" Airline Compatible Suitcase is designed for adult travelers seeking a durable and secure carry-on solution for both short and long trips. Its key benefit is the combination of TSA-approved locks for security, effortless maneuverability with swivel wheels, and airline compatibility, making travel smoother. A potential caveat is that while made of ABS, hard-shell suitcases can be prone to scratching with heavy use, though this does not affect functionality.

FAQs
What are the exact dimensions of the Lugg Skywander 20" suitcase?
The suitcase measures 56cm x 23cm x 38cm, designed to meet standard cabin requirements for many airlines.
How do I set the combination for the TSA lock?
The method for setting the TSA lock varies slightly by manufacturer, but typically involves opening the lock (usually set to 0-0-0 initially), finding a small reset button or switch (often on the side or back of the lock mechanism), setting your desired code, and then pressing the reset button/switch again to secure the new combination.
Is the suitcase suitable for checking as hold luggage?
While designed as a carry-on, its durable construction means it can also be used as checked luggage. However, please be aware that checked baggage is subject to more rigorous handling, and cosmetic damage like scratches may occur more readily.
What material is the suitcase made from?
The suitcase is made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) material, known for its toughness and impact resistance.
Can I take this suitcase on budget airlines like Ryanair?
Yes, the Lugg Skywander 20" suitcase is designed to be compatible with airlines such as Ryanair, easyJet, British Airways, and others, fitting within their standard cabin baggage dimensions.
How do I clean the water-resistant coating?
The water-resistant coating is an integral part of the ABS material. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can degrade the coating and the underlying plastic.
What happens if the telescopic handle gets stuck?
Check for obstructions and ensure the release button is fully pressed. Avoid forcing it, as this can damage the internal mechanism. Gentle cleaning of the tracks might resolve minor issues. If it remains stuck, professional assessment might be needed.
Troubleshooting
TSA lock is difficult to open or reset.
Ensure you are using the correct combination. If resetting, follow the lock's specific instructions carefully, often involving a small tool or pin. If the lock is jammed, gently try wiggling the dials while applying slight pressure.
Telescopic handle is stuck.
Check for any obstructions in the handle mechanism. Ensure the button is fully depressed when trying to extend or retract. If debris is present, try cleaning the tracks. Avoid forcing the handle, as this can cause damage.
Wheels are stiff or not spinning smoothly.
Inspect the wheels for dirt, hair, or debris. Carefully remove any obstructions. If the issue persists, the wheels may need cleaning with a damp cloth. For persistent stiffness, a small amount of silicone lubricant might be applied to the axle, but use sparingly.
Suitcase exterior has minor scuffs.
Light scuffs on ABS material are common with travel. For minor marks, try wiping with a damp cloth. For slightly more persistent marks, a mild plastic cleaner or even a melamine foam sponge (used gently) can sometimes help. Note that these are cosmetic and do not affect the suitcase's function.
