Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your shoes last, follow these maintenance tips:
- Breaking In: Wear your shoes on short walks indoors or on flat terrain before embarking on long hiking trips to ensure the fit is correct.
- Cleaning: After muddy hikes, allow the shoes to dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the synthetic materials. Once dry, brush off loose dirt with a soft-bristle brush.
- Waterproofing Maintenance: Periodically check if water still beads on the outer fabric. If absorption increases, apply a dedicated synthetic footwear water-repellent spray.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent mold growth on the internal membrane.
