Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
The adidas Gazelle Trainers require no complex setup. Simply unbox and wear. Ensure the fit is comfortable with enough room for toes to move slightly, but not so loose that the foot slips.
Compatibility:
These trainers are compatible with a wide range of casual outfits and everyday activities. They are suitable for:
- School wear
- Playground activities
- Casual outings and events
- Light walking and everyday movement
They are not designed for:
- Specialized sports requiring specific athletic support (e.g., intense running, basketball, football)
- Extreme weather conditions without additional protective measures (e.g., heavy rain, snow)
Care:
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your leather Gazelle trainers.
- Initial Protection: Consider applying a leather protector spray to guard against water and stains. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Regular Cleaning:
- Wipe down the leather upper regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and dust.
- For tougher marks, use a small amount of mild soap mixed with water. Apply with a soft cloth and wipe clean. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Clean the rubber sole with a brush and soapy water to remove mud and grime.
- Drying: Allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can crack or damage the leather.
- Conditioning: Periodically, apply a leather conditioner specifically designed for footwear to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking.
- Storage: Store trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Submersion: Do not machine wash or fully submerge leather trainers in water.
