The New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5 is a high-performance, ultra-lightweight trainer designed for adult male runners seeking speed, responsiveness, and versatility in their daily training. Its core strength lies in the high-rebound FuelCell midsole technology that provides a propulsive feel for tempo runs and speedwork, though the focus on lightweight materials means it may offer less structural stability than heavy-duty long-distance stability shoes.

Yes, it is suitable for marathon training, particularly for speedwork, tempo days, and faster training runs.
They are breathable, which means water will pass through the mesh; they are not waterproof.
It is a neutral trainer, designed to work with the natural movement of the foot rather than providing corrective arch support.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the foam materials to break down faster.
The upper is crafted from a durable, lightweight, and breathable polyester mesh.
Adjust the lace tension and ensure the plush tongue is centered correctly beneath the laces.
Try using the additional eyelet (the 'runner's knot') to create a more secure lockdown around the ankle.
Allow dirt to dry completely and gently brush it away with a soft-bristled brush.
To ensure the best experience with your New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5, start by checking that the size matches your regular running shoe fit, as the performance mesh is designed for a snug, secure wrap. To maintain the integrity of the shoe, avoid machine washing or drying. Clean the exterior by gently wiping the polyester mesh with a soft cloth and mild soap, then allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent foam degradation. Replace your shoes every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and weight, to ensure the midsole cushioning remains effective.
