The Clarks Aldwin2 Derby is a versatile, smart-casual low shoe designed for adult men who need a reliable footwear option that transitions seamlessly between professional and social settings. Its key strength lies in its blend of classic aesthetics and modern comfort features, such as the removable moulded EVA footbed. While the shoe offers exceptional daily comfort, users should note that the leather upper requires consistent maintenance to preserve its premium hand-finished look.

Yes, thanks to the moulded EVA footbed and extra heel cushioning, they are well-suited for extended wear, though they are designed primarily for urban walking rather than hiking.
Yes, the provided moulded EVA footbed is removable, allowing you to insert custom-made orthotic insoles if required.
Use a damp cloth to remove surface dirt and follow up with a leather-specific conditioner or black polish to maintain the finish and suppleness of the material.
While the leather is durable and the rubber outsole provides grip, they are not waterproof. It is recommended to use a leather protector spray to offer a basic layer of water resistance.
Clarks generally follow standard UK sizing. Ensure you measure your feet in the afternoon when they are at their largest, and refer to your usual Clarks size for the most consistent fit.
Since the footbed is removable, you can replace it with a third-party orthotic insole that better matches your arch height.
Apply a shoe polish or leather conditioner that matches the black finish to buff out minor surface scuffs and restore the sheen.
Leather footwear often requires a break-in period. Wear them for short durations indoors initially to allow the material to soften and mould to your foot shape.
To ensure the longevity of your Aldwin2 shoes, keep them clean by wiping the leather surface with a soft, dry cloth after use. For deeper cleaning, use a high-quality leather cream to maintain moisture and prevent cracking. If you use custom orthotics, the removable EVA footbed can be easily swapped out to accommodate your specific support needs. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain, and if the shoes get wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp or dry out the leather.
