Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your Masters Court Trainers is straightforward:
- Unpack: Remove trainers from packaging.
- Lace Up: Use the lace fastening to adjust the fit. Ensure laces are snug but not overly tight, allowing for natural foot movement.
- Wear: Break in your trainers with short wears initially to conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Outfits: Best paired with casual and smart-casual attire. Think jeans, chinos, shorts, polos, t-shirts, and casual button-down shirts.
- Activities: Ideal for daily wear, light walking, and social activities. Not recommended for intense athletic training, running, or heavy-duty outdoor work.
- Seasons: Suitable for all seasons, though in heavy rain or snow, specialized footwear might be more appropriate to protect the leather.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your trainers:
- Cleaning the Leather Upper: Gently wipe dirt and dust with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a cleaner specifically formulated for leather. Always test cleaners on an inconspicuous area first.
- Drying: After cleaning or exposure to moisture, allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, which can damage the leather.
- Lining Care: The Terry and mesh lining can be wiped down with a damp cloth if needed. For odors, consider using shoe deodorizers.
- Outsole: Clean the rubber outsole with a brush and water to remove accumulated dirt and maintain grip.
- Protection: Consider applying a leather protector spray periodically to help repel water and stains.
- Storage: Store trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
